When James Bond unwittingly delivers a bomb to MI6 Headquarters, the explosion kills British oil magnate Sir Robert King leaving his daughter, Elektra, to inherit his fortune.  007 discovers that Renard, a terrorist who once kidnapped Elektra is planning to steal a nuclear warhead.

 When M, a family friend of the Kings, is kidnapped herself, Bond suspects Elektra is not as innocent as perhaps everyone thinks.  Aided by the beautiful Dr. Christmas Jones, a nuclear scientist, Bond uncovers a plan to sabotage a major oil pipeline, and a nuclear submarine, with potentially catastrophic consequences.
