When 006 turns up at the British Embassy Berlin near death, James Bond is sent to discover the truth behind his murder.  Bond's best lead is the  Faberge egg 006 was clutching when he died.  The auction of the egg leads 007 to Kamal Khan in India, who in turn leads to the mysterious Octopussy a beautiful criminal businesswoman.

Bond and Octopussy share a passionate affection, but soon 007 discovers that Kamal Khan is in league with a renegade Russian General planning to detonate a nuclear bomb in the hope that the West will demand disarmament leaving their borders open to invasion.
